The Village of Sebring has an opening for a full time Operator in the Service Department.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Ohio Drivers license and have or be able to obtain an Ohio CDL Class B License. Must have the ability to obtain an OEPA Class 1 Water Distribution or Waste Water Collection license within 30 Months. Must always interact with all Village employees and the public in a professional manner. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.  

Physical and Work Requirements

 Be physically fit to do all duties assigned including walk, sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.

Job duties include but are not limited to operation of Village water, sewer, streets, and park systems. Must have the ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time Skill in the operation of equipment and construction tools is helpful.

Supervision Received

All work is performed under the supervision of the Deputy Service Director. Must also be able to work without direct supervision.

Shift

Monday-Friday 7;00am to 3;30pm Full time 5 days a week with overtime as needed.

Entry-$ 17.00

CDL-$18.34

Water/Collection License- $ 20.38
