Over the past week, we have been receiving calls about “wildlife” birds acting strangely or being found deceased in residents’ yards. I wanted to share this information in case DAC members are receiving similar calls from their residents. Reports of sick or deceased wildlife birds should be submitted through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Reporting System. According to the representative I spoke with at ODNR, they typically investigate when there are six or more dead birds reported in a single area.
